Ornaments

Memorial ornaments are a great way to remember a person through their most special piece of clothing and be able to share with many people. Ornaments are double-sided and have a ribbon loop for hanging with a bow on one side. They have a stiff interfacing inside to hold the shape. The backside of the ornament can be plain fabric so families can write information about their loved one, the same clothing as the front, or a different piece of clothing. Because these ornaments are stitched on the edge using a satin stitch, it is much preferable to have flat fabrics. Cotton, flannel, satin, silk, polyester, etc. all work well. Thick fabrics such as heavy sweaters and fleece do not work well. Ornaments are generally heart shaped but can be circles instead. Each heart measures about 4” from the top of the heart to the bottom point.
