About Beth Sullivan

I have been making T-shirt quilts for over 20 years. To date, I have made over 1000 quilts and pillows along with many hundreds of memorial ornaments. In addition to making these special items for customers, I lecture to quilt guilds and teach classes in the use of interesting materials in quilts. I like to say that if it can be washed, sewn, and made to lie flat, it can go in a quilt! I am also an instructor at Creative Spark Online Learning where I publish video courses on making T-shirt quilts and pillows if you want to try this yourself.

I live in Bellingham, Massachusetts with my husband and three children. I am a rom-com audiobook addict and used to love crocheting until I found quilting. In 2000, I was teaching First Grade and took a learn to quilt course at the local community education group. I was hooked. I eventually made myself a T-shirt quilt and when people saw it, they asked if I would consider making one for them. In 2003, I left teaching to stay home with my daughter and the part-time business was created. Eventually, my kids were all in school and I went full-time with the business. I love that something I create is so meaningful to my customers.
